The Reserve
Set within the Melorane ERP Game Reserve in South Africa's North West Province, ERP Canvas Lodge offers rare seclusion in a living conservation landscape. The reserve, the flagship project of Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP), spans 15,000 acres of restituted land held under a 90-year lease from the Barokologadi community, adjacent to the world-renowned Madikwe Game Reserve.
ERP protects Southern Africa's wild elephants and rhinos by alleviating poverty in the rural communities beside them, from a resident rhino sanctuary and Anti-Poaching Unit to community income projects. Whether a personal escape or a corporate incentive, 100% of the lodge's trading surplus is channelled directly into conservation at Melorane.
